Parties

Being an uncle is a lot of fun. And tiring. Yesterday I went to my niece’s Valentine’s Day party with 24 rambunctious first graders. Today I attended a bowling birthday party for a 6 year old. Lots of action. My bowling game was rusty – 118. My dad came out of retirement with a respectable 154. The kids didn’t worry about their score, they were too busy eating ice cream and cake. My two year old nephew took advantage of the bumpers and rolled a few down the lane, with some assistance.
The kids just go go go. Lucky for me they also need a nap. I woke up from an hour of z’s a few minutes ago. Uncle Drew needed it. Last night was an adult night. We went to hibachi and I had more sake than I should have. The food was great and the cooking experience is always fun.
We’re getting ready to hit the dogpark. It’s only 50, but it is sunny. In NY, if we had that, we’d be all over it. Here, it is a little cool.
The kids are calling….
Oh, I almost forgot, Happy Marketing/Valentine's Day.
